Stash Enhancement and a Giveaway

Who doesn't love squishy mail?

The beautiful collection comes from Connecting Threads. This past spring I made a simple table runner with a charm.  These fabrics are so sweet I want to use them in a different project for Spring 2017.

Click for a better view of this collection Wildflowers & Honey directly from their website.

I ordered the deeply discounted quilt kit Wildflower Bright which had fat quarters and larger of most of the collection fabrics plus a few complimentary ones.  Then I piled on deeply discounted 1/2-yard cuts of the ones not included with the kit.

This was a 'stash enhancement' totaling 13-1/4 yards of coordinated fabric!  The clearance price of the kit, some related fabric, a 20% weekend flash sale, and crossing the free shipping threshold -- because other things were bought too ;-) -- it crossed my threshhold at $2.74 per yard.  Yeah.  Quilt-shop quality fabric.  For that price.

It can be done, ladies.  It can be done.

To celebrate my blessing and the end of Presidential campaign season (!!!), I offer for free to one of my commenters the Wildflower Bright PATTERN which came with the kit.

You can see the pattern much better at the kit linked above.  I'll smooth it out a bit and fold it neatly into a #10 envelope and it will be on its way to one of you.  On Wednesday, November 9, some child of mine will pick a random number between 1 and X.  The lucky winner will be contact by email, so please be sure to include yours.  (I will not be using these for any other purpose.  I pinky-swear promise!)

Edited to add:  Congratulations, Maggie Fellows!  My dd13 chose random number 4, and Maggie was the fourth commenter below. Her pattern is on it's way to her.  Thanks to all the commenters for participating.

Linking up with Sunday Stash at Molli Sparkles and Oh Scrap! at Quilting Is More Fun Than Housework.  Also, Main Crush Monday at Cooking Up Quilts and Monday Making at Live Love Laugh. As well as Fiber Tuesday at The Quilting Room with Mel.
