Yesterday I came across what looks to be a very fun quilt-along going on with Jennifer over at The Inquiring Quilter!
It's not too late to join in as it is a lap-size quilt and we're only half-way along. She's offering great giveaways at each stage of progress.
Here's just part of what I accomplished in a few hours yesterday.
I was able to pull everything from my stash, and it looks pretty well coordinated (if I do say so myself, lol). These fabrics weren't part of a collection when I bought them.
I hope everyone is recovering quickly from 'election stress.' I know fabric therapy has really been soothing to me. I began quilting as a stress therapy in 2006, and it has served me well for the ten years since. It's tactile, it's colorful, it's relaxing, and it's creative -- pretty amazing combination.
Linking up with Oh, Scrap! at Quilting is more fun than housework and Sunday Stash at MolliSparkles.
Thank you for reading.

Oh, I so agree with you that fabric therapy is soothing and stress - reducing! It helped me make it through my teaching career, and it looks like I will still need it. Lol! Love the colors and fabric you chose for your Berry Cross quilt!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful blocks. I can't wait to see the final finished quilt top.
ReplyDeletePretty colors in those blocks. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. I'm sure this will be a great quilt. Cheers, Sylvia at Treadlestitches
ReplyDeleteLove these colors and I'm so glad you are joining us! You're right, it's a simple quilt and can be made fast.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about fabric therapy! If I don't sew for a while, I get very cranky!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. If I don't sew well, then I get cranky so I sew!
