I loved Bonnie Hunter's Garden Party pattern that was in the most recent issue of Quiltmaker. Having red scraps busting out everywhere, getting started on it was a no-brainer. So in June I got started, and just recently got all the blocks done.
Ta-da!
Soon, and very soon, they will be laid out and sewn into a flimsy. Hardly made a dent in my scraps though. Oh, well, I had fun trying!
This will be my first participation over at Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2015 linky party hosted by soscrappy. Please visit that blog and check out what others have been doing in red this month.
Blessings, Kim
welcome to the fold! We're a great group! LeeAnna
ReplyDeleteVery nice bunch of blocks! Can't wait to see how they come together.
ReplyDeleteSo many scraps put to good use. You got those blocks done in a hurry. They will make a great quilt.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blocks. I look forward to seeing a flimsy.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks look so cheery sitting there waiting to be done up into something spectacular! Great scrappy progress.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the RSC!! With your RED Chain Blocks, you ALREADY fit right in. Have FUN and see just how far your scraps can stretch. I think they multiply when we walk out of our sewing spaces!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've joined us! I'm looking forward to seeing these blocks sewn together. :- )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scraps. So happy you have joined our group. I've been sewing along with Angela for 4 years ... I think. Her challenge helps me keep my scraps under control.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quilt. It is on my list for someday. I am picturing the chain blocks in green though. Have fun using up those scraps!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting! I'm doing the RSC16 row quiltalong on your blog! Fun!
