Each year my guild holds a benefit auction for a local worthy cause. Guild members are encouraged to submit a quilt 36"x36" to be hung around the businesses in town for several weeks before the auction day.
This will be my first year participating in this endeavor, and I am very much looking forward to it. (I joined the guild late last year.)
Here's a preview of one of my intended two offerings:
This is a kit ordered from Connecting Threads. It's a tad over size but it will be easy enough to leave off a row or two of squares all around. A bit of applique, so I can't wait until the last minute!
I'll be posting soon about all the Block of the Month's and Challenges I hope to participate in this year. There is also a FIU (Finish It Up) Challenge - we all need one of those! - and a Block-a-Day going on.
Evidently this is the year I fully immerse myself in fabric. Ain't nothin' wrong with that!
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog!
