31 Days of Blogging Challenge Accepted!

It is obvious if you look at my posting history that I need a kick in the pants to get this blog rolling and active.  I surfed upon the 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge hosted by blogger Cheryl Sleboda, and it seems just the thing ... a public commitment long enough to establish a habit.  (Didn't someone say it takes 21 days to make a habit?)

Coming up with fresh and interesting content will be a new adventure for me, but I see quilty bloggers do it every day and they inspire me.

It is my hope this blog will become an inspiration to you in your quilting endeavors and also to me as my New Year's Resolution (insert scary music here) is to ramp up my quilting life, skills, and productivity of finished creations.  I had another birthday yesterday and they seem to just keep coming, so if not now, when?

This blog will soon contain a list of my WIPs and UFOs and stash yardage in/out and some snippets of my personal family life, all of which I hope you find enjoyable, and feedback on which I heartily encourage.  I really, really like constructive criticism -- speak the truth in love -- as I want to keep learning and growing in all areas of my life.
